“AZEVIAS” WITH meia.dúzia® PUMPKIN AND ORANGE JAM WITH CINNAMON AND ALMONDS - BY CHEF GIL PINTO

INGREDIENTS
250g fFlour;
75g lard;
125ml water;
3g salt;
Brandy;
1 egg yolk;
1 tube of meia.dúzia® Pumpkin and Orange from "Algarve" Jam with Cinnamon and Almonds.

 

PREPARATION MODE
Knead the flour with the lard, add
the water gradually and knead. Insert
the remaining elements individually
until a homogeneous mass is
obtained. Bring the meia.dúzia® Pumpkin and Orange from "Algarve" Jam with Cinnamon and Almonds to boil until thick.

ASSEMBLY:
Stretch the dough, with a metal
ring about 7 cm in diameter making
circles of dough. Put the filling of
meia.dúzia® Pumpkin and Orange from "Algarve" Jam with Cinnamon and Almonds, fold and with the rim,
cut type cushion. Take to the freezer
for 30 minutes. Fry in very hot oil
and pass through powdered sugar.
